know you can take your van to the dealership if any of these SAFETY
RECALLs apply to your vehicle. Tell them the "campaign number."
I'm not sure about the general recalls. |

I had the part replaced on my '86 and '87 Vans for no charge at Precision Toyota in Tucson, AZ. The steering on the '86 was improved a little but the steering on the '87 (4WD) felt much sloppier after the part was replaced. I had to go back three times and finally convince the service manager that the problem was not there when I brought the van in. I was given a free alignment which helped some, but it still feels loose, probably other parts. Beware of throwing one new part into a system that has been wearing togther for 16 years, they said. |
