It is pretty small for living in long term ... I call it the "Barby Doll Camper". It seems to have been designed for tiny people ... headroom is only 5' 8", the cabinets are much lower than normal, and the fold down bed takes up most of the standing room when deployed. It is just a bit smaller than a VW van conversion, but of course, since it was built on a TOY van, it is twice as reliable and costs about half as much.

A novel concept, very nicely executed, but with some question as to exactly what the role of this unit was to be, and who it would be for. Because it is so small and light, it is geat for driving around the city or for back roads [ nimble, good mileage, etc. ] but no so great for living in once you've stopped for the night, unless you are planning on using it mainly for sleeping.

I added 8 Ply Woo Song 195/75/R14" tires to it, otherwise, with the extra height and leverage [sail area] provided by the raised roof, it would be even more susceptible to wind wander than the normal Toy vans. Top speed is guestimated at 130 KPH [I'm not anxious to find out exactly how fast an 88" WB van with a raised roof willl actually go] and the mileage is about 20 MPG [CAN].

Located on Vancouver Island, BC Canada, where it is my daily transportation.

I would sell it for $6000 CAN, or consider trading it for a motor cycle.

I've got another camper van, a beat up 78 Ford, which is much more practical ... enough room to actually live in ... but then the Ford is a bit of a pig to drive around in the city.
